All WordPress-esque

So, since my previous attempts at a blog have failed utterly, I decided to have a think about why.

The reasons I came up with were

1. I didn’t have it finished, as it was written in .Net and writing backend code is SO boring, so there was not method to actually input content except via the database…
2. It was a faff and even if the first point wasn’t an issue, when do I have time?  Ideally I needed some way to post stuff via my iPhone

I came to the conclusion that WordPresswas the answer as it had all the tools and functions I needed AND has an iPhone application to allow entry on the move when I actually have some free time..

So, 20 quid spent on a years basic WordPress hosting with TSOHost.co.uk (had good recommendations) and some jiggery pokery with custom themes and here we are.  The customisation is still ongoing, I have to include some sort of Flickr integration, but I’ll get to that eventually.

We’ll see how it goes I guess.
