I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of some sort of epic road trip (possibly because I’ve watched too many Top Gear Specials) but I think it’s something I really want to do..
To that end I’m currently trying to organise a trip to do this

Which is basically a 2 week drive down through europe, across the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco, down through the Atlas mountains, through Western Sahara and into Mauritania (dodging armed rebels) and then donating our cars to charity in Nouakchott then flying home.
2 people, 1 cheap car, 3500 miles, how hard can it be?!
I’ve asked my mate Kostas to do it with me as he is insane as I am, so now I just have to find a car!
